Rocket Savings Rewards FAQs
The Rising Star reward program is available to all minors who have an active Rising Star kids savings account with South Texas Federal Credit Union. This program is designed for families in McAllen and across South Texas who want to help their children build strong savings habits.
Minor members can earn a $5 reward each time they make a deposit to their account, for up to four (4) visits per calendar year. That means your child can earn up to $20 annually while building consistent savings habits.
No appointment is needed. Simply visit any South Texas Federal Credit Union branch in McAllen or Weslaco during regular business hours to deposit your child’s savings.
You can open a Rising Star kids savings account at South Texas Federal Credit Union, proudly serving families in McAllen, Weslaco, and throughout South Texas. Membership eligibility and account approval are required.
