Mission: Spooky Savings — A Fun Learning Adventure for Our Rising Stars!
At South Texas Federal Credit Union, we believe it’s never too early to start learning the value of money — and we’re making it fun!
That’s why we’re thrilled to invite our Rising Star Minor Accountholders to take part in our first-ever financial literacy workshop.
The Mission
On Saturday, October 25th from 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM, our young astronauts will blast off into a Halloween Galaxy adventure where they’ll discover how to:
- ✨ Understand what money is and how we use it
- ✨ Learn why saving matters (and how it adds up!)
- ✨ Spend smartly — recognizing needs vs. wants
- ✨ Set simple budgets for allowance or gift money
- ✨ Share and give back to others
Each topic is presented in a kid-friendly way — mixing imagination with valuable life lessons that help build a strong financial foundation.
The Best Part — Costume Contest & Candy!
No space mission is complete without a little fun!
Kids are encouraged to dress up in their favorite Halloween or space-themed costume for a chance to win spook-tacular prizes during our Costume Contest. 🍬🍭
We’ll also have candy giveaways and festive treats for all our young explorers!
